Sabana Grande de Boyá is a municipality (municipio) of the Monte Plata province in the Dominican Republic. It includes the municipal districts (distritos municipal) of Gonzalo and Majagual.[3]

As of the Dominican Republic's 2002 census, the municipality had a total population of 24,357 inhabitants, of which 16,291 resided in urban areas and 8,066 in rural areas.[2]
